Eco-Responsible Gold

The endeavours we make to be a responsible company are as precious as the metals we work.

In this direction, we place special focus on building positive relations with our internal and external stakeholders and are committed to working inside a transparent and responsible production chain. In doing so, we try and make a contribution to the economic growth of the areas we operate in and endeavour to minimize our environmental impact.

Aurum Monaco has established its own corporate responsibility charter which is compliant with the procedures established by the OECD (Organization for Economic Coope- ration and Development) on the duty of diligence for our supply chains that are exempt from any links to conflict, traficking, environmental and human rights abuses.

1

certifications

Aurum Monaco will have several certifications by recognized international organizations.

Maintaining these certifications will be contingent upon regular audits done by independent third party organizations. These audits will serve to verify that the company respects, throughout its distribution chain, human rights, labor law, limitation of environmental impact and the promotion of sustainable mining practices.

2

identification

The supply chain requires identifcation of the origin of the gold and making sure that the extraction of gold is done in compliance with local laws.

In the absence of official documentation proving this, Aurum Monaco will not accept any gold. Moreover, the Company will monitor its suppliers, notably thanks to regular visits on site, either by the personnel of Aurum Monaco or by international transport companies which handle the transport of ore. These visits will be documented by site reports and this process will then be verifed by internationally recognized organizations.
